The problem What it already costs you

  • No fibre, no mobile coverage and no radio: the alternative is sending someone to read the datalogger. Or going without the data.
  • When the river rises, or the snow starts to melt, the alert has to arrive within minutes. A daily report is no use.
  • Every equipment manufacturer brings its own portal, and none of them talks to the rest of the operation.

  • Coverage anywhere

    The device transmits over the Iridium constellation, with coverage across the entire surface of the planet. The gateway delivers it to Lynx, where it enters as one more measurement.

  • The device decides when to alert

    Scheduled send, increase, decrease and out-of-range value: every message says why it was sent, and the datalogger itself flags the alarm.

  • One more platform measurement

    Series, charts, reports and alarms just like any measurement over Modbus or MQTT. Third-party stations come in the same way: the platform is the operation’s data hub, and the customer decides what to integrate and who sees it.

A generation group with dozens of plants and four technologies living in the same operation. Temperature, accumulated rainfall, humidity, snow depth in the mountains, river flow and level, from its own stations and third parties’: Lynx is the customer’s data hub. Alarms let it plan hydroelectric generation ahead.

Installed capacity is the group’s and sets the scale. What Lynx carries is its hydrological and weather network: that is where the stations and the history come from.

Rain gauge and level sensor on dataloggers that transmit by satellite. Each station carries its rain and level thresholds programmed in the field, and the event list tells apart what the device flagged as an alarm from what arrived unconfirmed.

What each installation needs is written on the module page: your own Iridium contract, programmed field equipment and station onboarding.

Figures come from real installations. A sector that cannot publish them yet says so on its page. Customer, plant and line names are not published.
