When you arrive at lynxplatform.net no measurement cookie is placed and no third-party resource is loaded. Until you decide, your browser sends not a single request outside this domain.

If you accept audience measurement, Google Analytics and the tag manager that loads it are activated, and the two cookies described below are placed. If you decline, nothing is loaded: not the tools, not their cookies, not a single call to Google. Declining takes one click, exactly like accepting.

What cookies are

A cookie is a small file that a website places on a visitor’s device to store and retrieve information about their browsing. They are commonplace and, depending on their purpose, may serve to make a site work, remember preferences, measure audiences or display personalised advertising.

Placing cookies that are not strictly necessary requires the informed consent of the user, in accordance with article 22.2 of Spanish Law 34/2002 (LSSI) and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

Which cookies are used

This is the complete list. If it ever failed to match what you find in your browser, that would be a mistake on our part, and we would be grateful if you told us.

The technical cookie is placed whether you accept or decline: it is the only way to remember your decision without interrupting you again. It contains no identifier and travels to no third party.

No equivalent technologies are used either: no tracking pixels, no device fingerprinting, no heatmaps, no session recording, no support chat.

The tag manager

Measurement tools are not loaded one by one: they are loaded by Google Tag Manager, a tag manager from the same provider. It is not itself a measurement tool. It places no cookie of its own, collects no data by itself and identifies no one: its only function is to load, in one place and under one condition, whatever this site has decided to measure.

That condition is the same as everything else: nothing is downloaded until you accept. And what it can load is limited technically, not merely by our word. This site’s content security policy authorises the browser to request resources only from the Google domains described on this page; any other —an advertising network, a social media pixel, a heatmap— would be blocked by the browser itself, even if someone added it to the manager by oversight.

Extending that list requires modifying and republishing the site. Should a tool ever be incorporated that places cookies other than those in the table above, this policy would be updated before it was enabled.

What is measured, and what is not

Measurement serves to know which pages are read, by what route the site is reached and at what point the configurator is abandoned. It is aggregate information about the use of the site, not about you.

The measurement property is configured without Google Signals and without advertising personalisation. No advertising profiles are built, this data is not combined with data from other sites or with your Google account, and nothing is shared with the advertising network. Nor does Google Analytics store your IP address: it uses it to infer the country and then discards it.

This site has no private area, requires no registration and takes no automated decision about anyone who visits it.

How to give, change or withdraw consent

The first time you visit, a notice appears with two buttons of the same size and the same visual weight: accept and decline. Neither option is hidden or requires extra steps.

You can change your decision whenever you wish from the “Cookies” link in the footer, which reopens that notice. Withdrawing consent takes effect immediately: the measurement tool stops loading and its cookies are deleted.

Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out while consent was in force.

Access logs

Declining cookies does not mean a visit leaves no trace at all. Like any web server, the infrastructure serving this site keeps access logs with the IP address, date and resource requested, which are deleted through periodic purges.

Those logs serve to ensure security, diagnose incidents and produce aggregate counts of visits and traffic sources. They are not cookie-based, require no consent, identify no individual on their own, and are not cross-referenced with the data you submit through the form. The processing is described in detail in the privacy policy.

Where the data goes

The provider of both the measurement and the tag manager is Google Ireland Limited, registered in Dublin, acting as processor. European traffic is collected on servers in the European Union, but the processing may involve access from the United States by Google LLC.

That transfer relies on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, to which Google LLC is certified, and on the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission. It is the only transfer outside the European Economic Area that this site makes, and it occurs only if you have consented to measurement.

The rest of the infrastructure —site hosting, the form and email— remains in the European Union. Typefaces are served from our own domain, and no maps, embedded video or social buttons are included.
