Energy & solar Performance dropped in March. You found out in the April report.

March can be seen in March. Production, PR and energy lost against the business plan, with plant consumption next to it and not in another portal.

The problem What it already costs you

  • Production is compared with the business plan once a month, in a spreadsheet, when nothing can be done about that month any more.
  • Rooftop production and plant consumption live in two portals. How much is really self-consumed, and how much is exported, is worked out at month end.
  • Inverters from several manufacturers, each with its own portal. Energy lost to breakdowns and energy lost to export curtailment end up in the same number, or in none.

With Lynx What changes

  • March shows up in March, not in April

Production, irradiation, PR and energy lost per plant, checked against the business plan month by month and not at year end.

  • Consumption against production, in self-consumption

Photovoltaic brings the rooftop production and EMS the plant consumption, meter by meter: how much is self-consumed, how much is exported and what share still comes from the grid.

  • Energy lost, with its cause

Performance, radiation and breakdowns separately, over 30 days and over 12 months. You know how much and why.

The evidence A real installation. Its figures. Not its name.

A group with photovoltaic plants in several countries
> 50
inverters from several manufacturers, on one platform
Since 2021
with every plant’s generation in the same place
Business plan
monthly, PVsyst or similar, against actual generation
kWh and CO₂
lost to each inverter failure, with its cost

Inverters from different manufacturers integrated on the same data: energy generated, deviations from the monthly business plan, tonnes of CO₂ avoided and, for every incident, the energy lost, its cost and the CO₂ equivalent of drawing from the grid.

Two rooftop self-consumption plants
1,168 kWp
of rooftop peak power, with 11 inverters
165,257 kWh
produced in the month, against 341,721 kWh consumed
30.9 %
of consumption covered by solar, with 28,144 kWh lost to export curtailment
40.7 t
of CO₂ avoided

The overview puts rooftop production and plant consumption on the same screen. Every month is checked against the business plan: production, radiation and export, each with its deviation in percent. That month production came in at −1.2 % against the plan. Energy lost is split between performance, radiation and breakdowns. And PR, for the month and over 12 months, plant by plant.

At a photovoltaic installation, the alarm engine valued an 11 h 39 min voltage loss at 609 kWh lost, on the same row where it logged it.

Figures come from real installations. A sector that cannot publish them yet says so on its page. Customer, plant and line names are not published.
