PRICING The price does not change with how much you look like you can pay.

This is the product tariff for Lynx: what the core costs, what each module adds and how it scales with the size of your plant. It is written so you can do the sum yourself, before you talk to anybody. What carries no tariff — going to your plant, pulling the cable, fitting the meter — is quoted, and this page says which is which.

Prices in euros, excluding VAT. This is a product tariff, not an offer. The scope of every project is agreed afterwards and in writing.

HOW IT IS CHARGED Four items. None of them hidden.

You pay for what you switch on and for the size of what you measure. The initial licence includes the first year: renewal does not start until year two, and it is 25 % of the initial licence. The only thing also charged in year one is the points band. No cost per user, per screen or per report.

  • The installationOne instance of Lynx with its core: the seven components, the repository and every field driver. It is not chosen and cannot be switched off, so every Lynx platform carries it and none carries it twice.
  • Each plantEvery site or physical factory you register carries its own licence. It is the only thing multiplied by number of plants.
  • Each module you switch onA licence per module. It is licensed once and serves all your plants: a module is not multiplied by plant.
  • The volume you measureAn annual fee per band of points, paid once by the installation: switching on another module does not add it again. It is the only thing also charged in year one. The euro per point falls as you grow.

Plus one rule covering the first three: the annual renewal is 25 % of the initial licence, and the first year is already inside that licence.

THE TARIFF The installation, each plant and the seven modules.

The core is always in. Modules are ticked one by one and none is compulsory: the one that does not answer a question about your plant does not get licensed.

VOLUME What you measure sets the band, not the bill for each point.

A point is a signal Lynx stores: one measurement from one device — the power of an inverter, the temperature of a furnace, the flow at a station. Your installation falls into a band by its number of points and pays for the whole band, like a data plan. Inside the band, the price does not move.

PointsPer installation and yearAt the top of the band
1 – 50€190 every year3.80 € per point
51 – 200€570 every year2.85 € per point
201 – 500€950 every year1.90 € per point
501 – 1,500€1,800 every year1.20 € per point
1,501 – 5,000€3,800 every year0.76 € per point
5,001 – 15,000€7,400 every year0.49 € per point

The band fee is paid by the installation and counted once: the modules you switch on do not repeat it. It is the only thing charged in year one as well: the licence covers the right to use, and storing points costs from day one. Crossing a band is a step, not a slope: that is the price of fitting in six rows and letting you place yourself without calling us.

Above 15,000 points it is quoted: at that size no installation looks like any other.

DRIVERS Connecting one more source does not raise the bill.

Every field driver is inside the core. The protocols listed under Drivers — the open plant ones and the native protocols of Siemens, Rockwell and Omron PLCs — with no setup per driver and no fee per source connected. It makes no difference how many of them your plant speaks, or how many devices hang off each: what you pay for by volume is points, and that is above.

And if your plant speaks something else

A protocol the platform does not speak yet can be integrated, and that is quoted: it is development, not licensing. Ask us for the integration quote with the equipment you actually have. What your plant already speaks and what would need integrating comes out of the audit, before anything is signed.

THREE SUMS DONE Find yourself in one of these.

Scopes, not customers. Product only: no commissioning, no field work, no hosting and no maintenance. Year one covers the licences and the points band; from year two you pay the renewal and the band.

A plant starting out

The core alone, one site and up to 50 points. It already brings analytics, real time, alarms and permissions: a complete platform, not a cut-down version.

WHAT CARRIES NO TARIFF This cannot be published without lying.

  • The visit to your plant and the audit of what is there. It is what says what is needed, and it comes out different at every plant.
  • Cable, cabinet, meter and sensor. Materials and labour, to measure.
  • Configuring the devices in the field and registering your points on the platform.
  • Hosting. LYNX Cloud Edition is sized against what you measure; on-premise, the machine is yours and infrastructure management is contracted separately.
  • Maintenance. What it takes to keep an installation running depends on that installation — what equipment is there, how critical it is, what hours you cover — not on Lynx. It goes in the offer, with its scope.
  • Integrating a protocol the platform does not speak yet. That is development, and it is quoted against the specific equipment.

All of that is engineering work, and its price comes from seeing the plant. Putting an average figure here would be inventing it. It goes in the offer, with its scope written down.

What gets asked while reading a tariff.

Why publish the price when nobody in this industry does?
Because you have to defend the figure inside your own company before you can buy anything from us, and a "get in touch" defends nothing. If the number does not work for you, better to know today than in the third meeting.
What do I pay in year one, and what from year two?
In year one, the initial licences — the installation, each plant and each module — plus the points band. The renewal is not charged that year: it sits inside the licence. From year two you pay the renewal, which is 25 % of each licence, and the band again.
What counts as a point?
A signal Lynx stores: one measurement from one device. The power of an inverter is one point; the three that same inverter reports are three. The count comes out of the audit, before signing, and it is what fixes the band.
Can I start with the core and add modules later?
Yes. The core is a complete platform: analytics, real time, alarms and permissions are inside. A module added later pays its licence from that point on, first year included, and not retrospectively.
Are modules paid for per plant?
No. A module is licensed once and serves all your plants. The only thing multiplied by number of plants is the licence for each plant.
What if I sit just above a band?
You pay the band above. That is the trade-off of a model that fits in six rows, and we say it up front: if you are on the boundary, the audit count is the conversation to have.
What does commissioning cost?
That is not on this page, and not by oversight: it depends on what has to be installed at your plant. The visit is what says so. What you do know from here is what the software costs, which is the part that is the same for everyone.
Is there a minimum term?
Contract terms are agreed in the offer. What we can tell you already: there is an on-premise deployment if you would rather the data never left your plant.
What if I stop renewing?
You lose access to the platform, not the history: the data Lynx has already stored is never deleted. And while you have access you can pull it out whenever you want over REST services and MQTT, so there is no need to wait until then to hold your own copy.
What if I am an integrator?
You license against this same tariff with a volume discount, through the partner programme. The platform is the same; what changes is who installs it and what you pay for it.
